Came in for the 2 Slices, 1 Soda combo. Had a Meat Lover's and a Deluxe. The Meat Lover's was exactly what I wanted, and I ate it more quickly than I thought I was - and I love Meat Lover's. The surprise delight was the Deluxe. I almost never find a balanced slice that delivers a mix that keeps my tongue and palate satisfied, between crust, paste, and toppings, that also fulfills my desire to not force me to keep drinking alongside to be able to get along with that next bite. This was it.I'll be back.

I was there for the first time today and the food was amazingand place was very modern .the foreign lady that was behind the counter didnt know what a garden salad was or couldnt fiquire out what was on a deluxe pizza , shes in the wrong buisness she should be cleaning houses or something not the resturant buisness

Best pizza in Illinois! The crust and sauce are phenomenal and Joe is awesome. Across the city and the suburbs, haven’t had pizza as good as Pop’s and this is gonna be a regular spot!

The best pizza by the slice I’ve ever had!

Just ordered a taco pizza from Pop’s in Mundelein. The pizza was cooked to perfection. The taste was excellent, with great quality toppings. I am definitely coming back. And the owner is super friendly. Highly recommend Pop’s.

Really good thin crust pizzas.Its not your typical Chicago Cracker-like crust and closer to a New York Style.

The pepperoni and sausage pizza was fantastic — perfectly balanced flavors, generous toppings, and a crust that was crispy on the outside while still soft and fresh inside. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients.Their lasagna is just as impressive — rich, hearty, and full of flavor, like true homemade comfort food. The pasta dishes are equally amazing, cooked perfectly and served with delicious, well-seasoned sauces. If you’re looking for great pizza and authentic Italian comfort food, this place is definitely worth visiting.

I can't remember the last time I had a pizza that good! My favorite was the white pizza but the vodka sauce was excellent as well! Top notch service - so friendly. They make you feel like you totally belong there!!

I’m a Chicago pizza girl — cracker-thin, square cut, extra saucy. But I’m still giving this New York spot five stars. Walked in while the owner was mid-meeting and he immediately stopped to greet me. Then I completely missed the giant “pizza by the slice” sign and asked if they had slices. 🤦🏻‍♀️🫠. The owner kindly walked me through every option (and there were tons). Ordered a classic cheese (because if your cheese isn’t good, I’m not coming back) and a vodka slice since that’s harder to find around here. Both were great — freshly shredded cheese (you can taste it), flavorful sauce, and a crust that was foldable but still crisp. The vodka had that creamy, slightly sweet balance that I love- although the red sauce has my heart. Prices were fair, huge selection of slices, and you can tell the owner genuinely cares. Is Chicago pizza still the best? Sorry, Pops! It is! Will I be back to try the Sicilian and more toppings? Absolutely.

we stopped by at lunchtime and got pizza by the slice for two and onion rings. great pizza, crust, sausage amount and quality, sauce-awesome!! yummy onion rings too! give these guys a try! you’ll be a fan for sure!

Ordered pops for the first time Friday night. We tried both their thin and pan style pizza and both were excellent! The next day our kids (ages 10 and 15) requested we order from them again! Needless to say, it will be new go to for pizza! Delicious food and a family operated business makes for a great new addition to Mundelein!

We had the italian beef pizza and it was incredible. Freshly made pizza and crust, very friendly staff, looks nice and clean inside.
